Weald Store is an independent homewares retailer, proudly based in Epping Forest, Essex, UK.

We partner with British makers to bring you a collection of considered homewares and contemporary crafts.

We specialise in thoughtfully curated pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, timeless design, and sustainable materials.

History

Weald Store opened in 2017, but it really began when we started to renovate our first family home.

Once the dust had settled and I searched for furnishings and decor, my passion for interiors grew.

Along the way, I discovered a community of talented makers, artisans, and small UK-based brands, inspiring the collection we offer at Weald Store today.

Our philosophy has remained unchanged since the beginning, we believe there’s something special about handmade crafts.

Meet our founder, Charmaine

Charmaine founded Weald Store in 2017, after a long career as a buyer in the fashion industry, a couple of home renovations under her belt and a contacts book full of UK-based makers.

She lives with her husband and young children in a mid-century home at the edge of Epping Forest.

Discover our best-selling homewares

Our pure beeswax candles are made for us in a small workshop in Cumbria, where the traditional technique of hand-dipping has been used for over 40 years.

Our British-made pure wool blankets are warm, comforting and generously sized, for cocooning at home. They are traditionally woven for Weald Store at the edge of the Clwydian mountain range in Wales.
